Here Come The Playoffs

The time has come: playoff basketball has returned to the city of brotherly love for the second straight year. Starting this Saturday, the Sixers will look to take down the Brooklyn Nets in a seven game series, a team that has given the Sixers very good games during the course of the regular season. The Sixers should not have too difficult of a time beating the Nets however, as long as Joel Embiid is available to play, simply because the Sixers are just the better team. The Nets have been surging as of late, especially behind the tremendous play of Most Improved Player candidate D'Angelo Russell. Despite this, it is just difficult to picture a scenario in which the Sixers lose this series, even if Joel is out for a few games. However, as many will know, Joel’s health will be crucial in the second and third rounds if the Sixers find themselves advancing.
